Description

The Crema Valencia is an orange coloured marble, with fine grain and abundant darker reddish veinage. Its veinage is quite irregular, but this is what identifies the Crema Valencia as an unique type of marble. The Crema Valencia presents some variations, particularly in terms of colour (lighter or darker) and overall layout (veinage intensity and direction).

In terms of hardness, the Crema Valencia has a medium to high hardness.

Location

The Crema Valencia marble is explored around the town of Barcheta, which is located in the region of Valencia - southeast of Spain. Barcheta (which is locally known as Barxeta) is located at about 60 kilometers south of Valencia and at about 400 kilometers southeast of the Spanish capital Madrid.

The town of Barcheta is located in the Barchetta valley, which is located at about 30 kilometers west of the Mediterranean sea coastline.
